Team West Ham doing very nicely in the Alfred Dunhill competition up in Scotland, Noble and Horschell playing together, though the weather is absolutely crap, but probably not as bad as a Tuesday night at Stoke in December.

I'm hoping this role was by design all along for Nobes, rather than a throw of the dice to boost a failing Moyes.
The role seems very suitable for him, so hopefully if he can't help Moyes resurrect his best, Nobes can be an asset to whoever will eventually replace him as manager.

Noble played at the highest level of DOMESTIC football.....but the higher level is Champions League which I wished to fuck he got to play in, seeing as he was a one man club footballer......

The highest levels of football are pretty clear to all.
Also pretty clear that Nobes has never played there.

It’s you that keeps moving the goalposts to things like international football which I agree is the pinacle for the best footballers.
But you disagreed when I said Noble played at the top level.
You turned that into accusing me of saying Noble played at the same level as Pep, Zidane, Ancelotti, Conte, etc so you could ridicule it.
But I never said it. You keep insisting I did so I pointed out the difference to what you said and what I said.
Now it’s International football which was never the argument. Stick to the subject because Noble did play at the highest level. He had a great career which was enduring but because he was WHU he never won trophies to compare to the best players.
International football is your latest diversion and I’ve had enough of your phoney diversionary tactics.
So go swivel and you can have the last word I’ve noticed you love to have.

Firstly you’ve just blatantly made up this thing about not liking Noble.
Secondly, you “don’t care about international or European football” is irrelevant.
It’s the highest level that can be played at, that’s a fact. Mark Noble has never played there, that’s also a fact.
My problem is your talking nonsense & tying yourself in knots to back up ridiculous statements.
It’s hilarious to watch for me but probably boring for everyone else.

International & top European competition football is that top level it's why certain clubs want to break away from their domestic leagues and why any player with the talent to look comfortable at those levels will leave West Ham.....

Obviously winning an international tournament has a lot of stature. But I don’t think the quality is anywhere near the top club teams.

What I said was this and I stand by that -

In another 20 years time the winners in football records will show Ancelotti won a shit load of big trophies and as it stands is only the 7th person to win the Champions League as a player & manager. Unless Noble does something major in his new role, only West Ham fans would bother to look him up.....if any by then.......especially if we do ever win anything......

Noble played more games for a much longer time. He scored more goals and earned more as a player. He is also going to start his management career as a director.
Ancelotti played far fewer games per season and per career. He scored far fewer goals per season and over a shorter career period but was part of a winning team.
The comparison is in careers not football. You’ve changed what I said to football success! Of course success in football is going to Ancelotti but that’s not what I said. Noble was a less successful footballer but had a better and longer football career…imo

Success in football is pretty clear cut.

Ancelotti was a regular in one of the best modern day teams in Europe. Player for his country and won everything. Noble? Well he took a lot of penalties.
